This course equips educators with the tools and understanding to create trauma-informed classrooms that support healing and resilience. Participants will gain insights into the nature of trauma, its various forms, and how it impacts students’ brains, emotions, and behaviors. Through interactive discussions and case studies, teachers will learn to identify signs of trauma and address its effects on academic performance and classroom behavior. The training focuses on building safe and supportive environments, emphasizing trust, consistency, and empathy. Educators will practice trauma-sensitive communication, role-play strategies for managing challenging behaviors, and design classroom routines that minimize triggers. The course also highlights the importance of fostering resilience by promoting emotional regulation, self-soothing techniques, and student empowerment. Methodology & assessment
Observations of participation in discussions, group activities, and practical exercises.
Self-Assessment:
Participants reflect on their learning through daily journals or feedback forms.
Peer Feedback:
Encourage constructive critiques during group presentations.
Evaluation procedures:
The evaluation will take place in the hosting organization and will be conducted
by teacher trainers at the end of the course.
Recognition conditions:
At least 80% course attendance
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
The trainer will prepare digital and printed materials (presentations, assignments, case studies, etc.) to organize the course. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops to facilitate easier course participation. The trainer will provide all other necessary materials.
Certification details
Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance either on Friday or Saturday.

Cancellation & changes:
1. Re-scheduling to any of our courses in any Academy within the next 12 months;
2. Any other colleague may take your place and use the already paid fee without any additional costs.
Cancellations must be notified by e-mail.
For cancellations communicated at least 4 weeks before the start of the course, we will retain 30% of the course cost.
For cancellations communicated in the last 4 weeks before the start of the course, the full amount will be retained.
