At the heart of the 2030 Agenda are five critical dimensions: people, prosperity, planet, partnership and peace, also known as the 5Ps.
Description
Created by the UN, SDGs are set of common goals to help us overcome global challenges like poverty, inequality, climate changes and many other. The aim is to harmonize three core components for the future: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection. SDGs give your lessons the opportunity to add extra depth to your lesson plans. They can be used as a framework and tool to support students in developing their research, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills. They can also be used as bases to teach students active citizenship and help them grow into active and responsible citizens in the community. SDG are closely related to the priciples of equity , all students can access the resources and support they need to achieve their learning goals—no matter what their language, economic status, gender, race, learning capabilities, or disabilities may be.
