1. Description and main aims
The objective of the course is to enable participants to improve their language knowledge and integrate the dynamics of language learning.
In order to give to your school an international dimension, you need to be able to cooperate with an increasing number of actors in different languages.
This training allows you to improve your language level in English and to discover French. You will also explore the native language of Reunion Island : Creol.
Languages and cultures are closely linked and this course will also give you information on Reunion society and how different ethnic groups learned to live together on an island.
The aim is to give you an inside view on the birth of a language and teach you how to deal with languages in the classroom.
Learning objectives
Develop an understanding of the key concepts related to multicultural education, including cultural diversity, intercultural communication, and cultural sensitivity.
Apply practical strategies and techniques for addressing cultural biases and building relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.

Methodology & assessment
The course is based on theoretical, practical lessons and language classes. Conversations, debates will be held and visits will be organized. Participants will be the actors of their own learning with the help of our trainers. They will have a chance to meet and discuss with co-trainers in a friendly and benevolent atmosphere.
Certificate
At the end of the course, each participant will get a course attendance certificate and other needed documents for reporting of the sending institution.
