The course engages teachers in analysing, improving and enhancing their teaching and students’ learning through hands-on engagement in practical usage scenarios of Large Language Models. The concept of this course follows the “pedagogy first” principle, as well as design thinking approach. The deeper technological or computational issues behind AI technology are addressed only briefly, as the focus is on AI-empowered methods of increasing the effectivness, efficiency and creativity of teachers’ everyday job. The course addresses various aspects of enhancing teacher’s pedagogical and digital competence with the help of various AI-tools, in accordance with European framework DigCompEdu.
