Description
Outdoor learning, an educational approach that utilizes the natural environment as its primary context, offers a dynamic alternative to traditional classroom settings. By incorporating nature, outdoor spaces, and real-world experiences, it facilitates a unique and engaging learning process. This approach can take various forms, from brief nature walks to extended field trips and purpose-built outdoor classrooms. Due to its positive impact on students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development, outdoor learning is gaining more and more popularity.
This upcoming course will be largely held outdoors, providing hands-on experiences and practical workshops in natural environments. You will actively participate in outdoor activities, discussions, and group exercises to directly experience the benefits of outdoor learning. Expert facilitators will share theoretical knowledge, present successful case studies, and guide you in developing effective outdoor methods.

Methodology & assessment
Our program includes:
* Information: A general introduction to each topic.
* Observation: Opportunities to observe teaching, studying, and learning processes, either in small groups or individually.
* Sharing: Workshops where you can share experiences and expertise on the different topics.
* Creating Output: Individual and group work on a concrete product that you can use in your own school
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Please remember to bring your own laptop or tablet to the training session. All other materials and resources needed for a successful learning experience will be provided by our teacher training center.
Certification details
A "Certificate of Attendance" will be given in accordance with the Certification of learning outcomes as required by the Quality standards for courses under Key Action 1 (learning mobility of individuals). We also provide participants with help in completing Learning Agreements, as well as any other documents necessary for their organisations.

If you need to cancel a course that you have already paid for, you must provide written notice. In the event of a cancellation, you are welcome to transfer to a different course during the current or next school year at no additional cost. If you would prefer a refund, please note an administrative fee of €150 per person
