Outdoor Education is experiential learning in the outdoors. Outdoor Learning usually takes place outdoors. Outdoor Learning programs sometimes involve living in residential places or travelling to places with wild nature. These experiences are based on students participating in a variety of adventurous challenges and outdoor activities such as climbing, canoeing, hiking and group games.
Description
When learning is carried out outdoors children's behaviour improves, the whole class is eager to learn, and those students who are inhibited by the curriculum often develop and progress in the outdoor environment.

Methodology & assessment
Project Land European Teacher Academy Courses uses:
- Engaging in active learning and experiential teaching methods.
- Embracing a participatory strategy through activities such as group exercises, role plays, experiments, case studies, and simulation exercises.
- Adopting a hands-on approach to learning through practical experience.
- Promoting collaborative learning by encouraging the sharing of best practices and collective knowledge.

Evaluation Format:
Ongoing assessment involves consistently observing participants' activities.
Evaluation Criteria:
Assessment will consider preparation, active class participation, attentive listening, effective questioning and discussion, problem-solving skills, and collaboration within groups or with partners.
Evaluation Procedures:
The assessment will occur within the hosting organization and will be carried out by teacher trainers upon the completion of the course.
Certification details
At the end of the course, each participant will be awarded a certificate of attendance together - if requested - with the Europass Mobility Certificate. Our certificates are in line with theErasmus Quality Standards .
We assist you in the preparation of Learning Agreements and other any additional documentation required by your institution or National Agency.
