  • The primary emphasis will be on developing coordination, collaboration, and communication skills, recognizing their pivotal role in effective classroom management.
  • This course ensures participants grasp how learning opportunities, reinforcements, stimuli, autonomy, and collaboration intertwine with game-based learning. By the course’s conclusion, participants will comprehend the advantages and disadvantages of different techniques. They will feel confident in selecting the most suitable game-based activities aligned with their teaching goals and the specific needs of their students.

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of effective classroom management, integrating principles of coordination, collaboration, and communication. 
  • Develop strategies to foster teamwork, peer-to-peer collaboration, and empathetic communication with students, parents, and colleagues. 
  • Master the integration of both digital and non-digital game-based learning to enhance student engagement, motivation, and content retention.

Methodology & assessment

The course employs interactive teaching modes from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 - 14:00, including workshops, group discussions, role-playing, and hands-on game design activities. Participants will collaborate on real-life classroom scenarios and apply learned strategies in simulated environments. Learning is assessed through practical tasks, peer feedback, and reflective discussions, allowing participants to demonstrate their understanding and application of classroom management and game-based learning techniques. Formative Assessment: Teachers advice and feedback after final product presentation. Peer Review: Students review each other’s products and provide e feedback. Self-Reflection: Students reflect on their progress for further improvement.

The course uses diverse resources to support practical, engaging, and effective learning:

  • Printed Materials: Handouts, worksheets, and game design templates.
  • Digital Tools: Interactive platforms and AI for gamification and assessment.

  • Reflection Tools: Digital portfolio creation.

  • Course package content:
    • The total cost of the 10-day course is €800 (€80 per day). This includes:

      • Tuition fees
      • Course materials
      • One guided city tour
      • Coffee breaks
      • All required documentation (certificates, Learning Agreement, Learning Agreement Complement, Europass Mobility document)

      Additionally, we offer optional cultural trips during the course, which are arranged with a trusted local company. Details and pricing will be available one month before the course begins.

  • Cancellation & changes:

    Cancellations must be communicated via Mail (courses@spatiateacheracademy.eu).

    Enrolled students who cannot take part in the course for any reasons can always be replaced by another participant from the same organization, free of charge.

    If students cancel at least 3 months before the beginning of the course(s), SPATIA will refund the entire amount.

    In case of force majeure the Foundation will offer the possibility to change dates and course free of charge.
