JOYFUL ENGLISH. English Basic Course Or Upgrade English Language Course For Teachers And Educators
Joyful English, as its name suggests, aims to provide an enjoyable experience while learning English, recognizing that mastering a language can often feel like scaling a mountain for many. It holds especially true for individuals who perceive it as an obligation, lacking an understanding of the necessity of acquiring English as a second language.
Description
One pivotal aspect is the development of “communication skills”, which can be cultivated through language acquisition, broadening our perspective of an increasingly multicultural and interconnected world. Joyful English embodies the spirit of this program, structured in concise sessions enriched with non-formal educational activities, often conducted outdoors.
Tailored to participants’ proficiency levels, the course caters to teachers, students, school administrators, or adults in general. It offers short yet intensive sessions in diverse settings—both formal classrooms and entirely informal environments, indoors and outdoors alike.
The core content remains language, divided into:
– grammar (lexicon, phonetics and phonology, syntax and context)
– reading
– writing
– listening
– speaking
– communication
Learning should be an enjoyable journey. Hence, JUMP leverages Soverato’s picturesque landscape, integrating indoor and outdoor activities, which include natural settings, collaborations with public schools, and other workspaces conducive to unconventional, more organic learning experiences.
Participants engage in workshops and group activities (Project-Based Learning) led by trainers who are either native English speakers or possess advanced proficiency, employing captivating teaching methods and an intelligent approach. Collaboration, aided by ‘special’ didactic tools made from recycled materials like paint and paper, and using new media and technologies, transforms the classroom into an interactive space. Here, every participant is encouraged to take the lead and express creativity.
The course maintains a fluid and enjoyable pace, allowing everyone to share their learning and teaching experiences openly.

Methodology & assessment
Furthermore, in line with the JUMP Academy method, our courses are based on a strategic balance between formal and non-formal education, indoor and outdoor education and the team takes care of a very important aspect of international mobility which is the intercultural learning which we develop with short excursions and facilitating the interaction with local partners, businesses and citizens of our territory. Each local context has its own economy so it’s always useful, in training programs, to get in contact with concrete examples (experiential learning and real based learning).
We always try to connect our learners to local teachers and students to cooperate in developing innovation and networking for future projects.
