This course is aimed at teachers and all those who are interested in international activities and project management in educational context. Description

The course consists of 35 didactic hours and includes the following moduels:

Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
Introduction to communication channels and collaboration environments
Practical workshop on communication and collaboration skills development
Analysis of opportunities for international partnership projects (Aces and Erasmus+)
Online tools for collaboration in international partnership projects, eTwinning
Individual support
Teambuilding and networking activities with a cultural trip
Cultural exchange
Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session

Learning objectives

Understanding of communication channels and collaboration environments.
Improving the participants’ leadership skills and sense of initiative.
Understanding how international actions and partnership projects can be incorporated into lessons and school curriculum.
Understanding monitoring and evaluation strategies and mastering tools for them.
Developing communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, critical and creative thinking skills.
Understanding dissemination channels and their benefits.
Boosting participants’ confidence in international communication and collaboration as well as in project management.
Enhancing understanding of the potential international collaboration actions and projects have in education and opportunities they provide.
Enhancing professional skills through mastering tools for virtual communication and collaboration.

Methodology & assessment

Methodology is based on theoretical lessons and presentations of examples of good practice as well as discussions and experience comparisons. Participants will have the opportunity to develop personal and professional skills for communication and collaboration with partners from abroad and master basic tools for virtual communication and collaboration for project planning, management, evaluation and dissemination through workshops, simulations and action learning. By the end of the course participants will have a draft plan for international collaboration action of partnership project. Assessment is carried out by the course trainer on a day to day basis and the learning outcomes are recorded on the Europass Mobility Document on request.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.

Certification details

Certificate complies with the guidelines of the Erasmus+ programme and includes the topic, number of didactic hours, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants. In case. a participant requires a speciffic format of certificate we can accommodate that if requested at least one week before the start of the course.

The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves.
