The course focuses on staff working in higher education (educators, trainers, administrative staff) and all those who wish to enhance their ability to effectively interact, work and develop meaningful relationships with colleagues, students and professionals from different cultures, that is essential in our globalized today world.

Learning objectives

Communicate and work with people from different cultural backgrounds at home or abroad;
Adapt to diversity and the cultural contexts of communities.
Demonstrate intercultural values: tolerance, pluralism, accountability and openness to others;
Apply intercultural skills to create a personal development action plan;
Define the culture adaptation process and develop a strategy to foster effective interactions at work.

Assessment: Participant reflections; Group projects; Progress reports; Class discussions.
