Methodology:
This 5-day Erasmus+ course will utilize a blended learning approach, combining interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and individual reflection to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Key elements:
Expert-led instruction: Trainers will be experienced educators and video production professionals.
Interactive lectures: Lectures will be dynamic and incorporate case studies, real-world examples, and opportunities for questions and discussion.
Hands-on workshops: Participants will gain practical skills through hands-on activities like scripting, storyboarding, filming practice (using smartphones or basic equipment), and editing exercises using user-friendly software.
Collaborative learning: Participants will work in small groups on brainstorming ideas, developing interactive activities, and peer-reviewing each other's work.
Formative assessment: Throughout the course, trainers will provide ongoing feedback through observations in workshops, discussions, and peer reviews.
Technology integration: The course will utilize various video editing software, interactive video platforms, and online resources relevant to video creation in education.
Assessment:
Pre-course survey: Gauges participants' prior knowledge and expectations.
Daily activities and reflections: Short in-class activities and individual reflection prompts will assess participants' understanding and application of concepts learned.
Interactive Video Project: The culminating project will involve participants creating a short (2-3 minute) interactive video lesson on a chosen topic, incorporating elements learned throughout the course (scriptwriting, filming, editing, interactivity). This will be presented to the group and peers will provide feedback.
Post-course survey: Measures learning outcomes, gathers feedback on course effectiveness, and assesses participants' confidence in using interactive video in their teaching.
