This is an intensive course to improve your English level, and it aims to be a preparation course for any official examinations, independently of your starting level (minimum assessed A2 level is strongly recommended). This course will also help you feel stronger and more fluent in your active spoken or written English and will serve as solid base for any further implementation of the language.

Description

The teachers will show you the path to get to it, giving you the necessary tools to prepare for languages exams. The course will focus especially on developing oral skills, as these are often the hardest for most of the students. The heterogeneous groups formed by students of different ages, countries and specialties are the perfect environment to work on both oral competences: comprehension and production. Written competences will also be present in the course.

Learning objectives

Considering that the course takes place in English speaking countries, the main objectives of the course are the following:

• To develop self – confidence when using the foreign language.

• To improve fluency, phonetics and accent.

• To develop strategies to communicate in real life situations.

- To be able to keep up with an animated conversation between native speakers.

- To cope linguistically to negotiate a solution to a dispute.

Methodology & assessment

Monitoring and Mentoring of the participant before, during and after the mobility:
The course methodology will have daily motivation activities, self-knowledge, self improvement, working in pairs and groups, simulations and networking not only in the classroom but also in outdoor activities.
- Real learning: Students will have to face real communication situations, inside and outside the classroom. When the course takes place in English speaking countries, our priority will be to practice outdoors, with native speakers, in real situations of everyday life :
supermarkets, Post office, bus drivers and locals.
- Functional and pragmatic: We will not focus on learning rules and grammar practice. This is of course necessary but… you can do this at home!! We will practice with real life examples and many different types of activities and resources, taking advantage also of your experience as teachers.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

The company will provide the majority of materials to participants and all the course contents will be shared in a digital format. Regarding this, participants' digital tools will be improved and there will be any doubts about sharing the materials. Actually, a Google Drive access will be given to participants, so they can download everything that has been receiving during the training time. Furthermore, monitoring and mentoring arrangements will take place during and after the course.

Certification details

The Project Management Society Erasmus Plus holding group fulfills the Erasmus requirements about having a seat in the country where the course takes places and the group provides a local subsidiary company in this country. IRELAND OID: E10383075

The company sends the Learning Agreement document at the moment of the registration in the course, providing you an attendance 35-hour certificate from Sunday to Friday, which includes all necessary details. A 5 or 7-day CA can be created upon request

  • Course package content:

    The cost of the course includes course fees, a free guided city tour, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. The company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need. Accommodation, meals and transport to the venue is not included in the course fees but an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the local culture.

  • Cancellation & changes:

    Cancellations and Reimbursements of course fees are detailed in the booking confirmation document, but summarizing:.

    - If participants cancel at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, the company will refund the entire amount, minus 20% of the course fee. In another case, the participant will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 12 months.

    - In case of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), the participant will receive a full reimbursement of the course fees.
