INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (ICT) IN TENERIFE (SPAIN), WEB APPLICATION, SOCIAL NETWORKS AND ONLINE TOOLS FOR A NEW EDUCATION.

This is a 6-day Erasmus training course from Sunday to Friday. ICT’s course will focus on THE USE AND LEARNING OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES in the classroom, with special focus on the use of tablets as iPads or similar ones and discovering new apps but the achievement of all new knowledge as well.

Description

During the week it will develop the course with funny lessons and motivated activities to do with students once each participant will be back to your school, paying attention that all participants will have the opportunity to know some new educational systems. Furthermore, participants will be involved in cultural activities during the week with all actors of different courses attended by the company.

DAY 2 – MONDAY. SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS AND KNOWING NEW TOOLS.
DAY 3 – TUESDAY. BE CREATIVE!!

DAY 4: WEDNESDAY. DISCOVERING IPADs AND GAMIFICATION APPS

DAY 5: THURSDAY. ENJOY THE VIRTUAL REALITY!!

Learning objectives

- To provide teachers to improve their practical skills related to the management of the idea and application process of the new technologies.

- To assess and properly manage different digital tools to apply interdisciplinary skills through the curriculum.

- To learn to use a great range of new tools, devices and resources for transforming the classroom into an ICT environment learning where students practice their digital skills.

- To help teachers to design and implement motivating activities for their students by using ICT within a new framework of critical principles and in different scenarios: online, at school and even, outdoors.

- To learn to use a great range of new tools and resources for transforming the classroom into a ICT environment learning where students practice their digital skills.

- To design a blended learning scenario to be implemented in our school.

Methodology & assessment

ICT’s course is based on theoretical and especially practical lessons and presentations of examples of good practice as well as discussions and experience comparisons. The course will have lectures, seminars and workshops to ensure full comprehension and everyday assignment support. Every day will add new information about new devices, apps, programs, etc., and will create new links to strengthen future common projects.

Moreover, participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy interactive and collaborative group classes. In addition, teachers will always have time to assess the information and the student’s job and redefine the contents and ways of working in order to improve the student’s skills.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

The company will provide the majority of materials to participants and all the course contents will be shared in a digital format. Regarding this, participants' digital tools will be improved and there will be any doubts about sharing the materials. Actually, a Google Drive access will be given to participants, so they can download everything that has been receiving during the training time. Furthermore, monitoring and mentoring arrangements will take place during and after the course.

Certification details

The Project Management Society Erasmus Plus holding group fulfills the Erasmus requirements about having a seat in the country where the course takes places and the group provides a local subsidiary company in this country. Spanish OID: E10039300

The company sends the Learning Agreement document at the moment of the registration in the course, providing you an attendance 35-hour certificate from Sunday to Friday, which includes all necessary details. A 5 or 7-day CA can be created upon request

Course package content:

The cost of the course includes course fees, a free guided city tour, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. The company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need. Accommodation, meals and transport to the venue is not included in the course fees but an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the local culture.

Cancellation & changes:

Cancellations and Reimbursements of course fees are detailed in the booking confirmation document, but summarizing:.
- If participants cancel at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, the company will refund the entire amount, minus 20% of the course fee. In another case, the participant will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 12 months.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), the participant will receive a full reimbursement of the course fees.
