Description

The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:

  • Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
  • Identification of risks, factors and barriers for inclusion  
  • Games and activities which encourage collaboration and participation of all learners
  • Creating learning-friendly environment for meaningful learning in inclusive classroom
  • Managing behavior in the inclusive classroom through game and art-based activities and projects
  • Individual support
  • Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
  • Teambuilding and networking activities
  • City tour or a cultural trip

Learning objectives

  • Broadening the understanding of the importance of learning-friendly environment for meaningful learning in inclusive classroom.
  • Facilitating skills for creating learning-friendly environment.
  • Understanding of the role of arts and games in development of interpersonal skills for learning and cooperation, managing behavior and facilitation of self-directed learning and discovery.
  • Acquisition of various games and art-based activities and projects and ability to use them to facilitate cooperative learning and manage behavior in the inclusive classroom.
  • Developing communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, critical and creative thinking skills.
  • Providing and exercising creative ideas and practical resources for successful implementation of art and game-based activities to support inclusion in classroom.
  • Improving English fluency (official language of the course).
  • Promoting intercultural awareness.

Methodology & assessment

We strive to deliver high quality training courses on trending topics in European and global education while considering individual needs of our participants and their schools. Our inspiring trainers are experts in their fields and have international experience in education from almost all EU countries and beyond. Our methodology is based on theoretical input, presentations of examples of good practice as well as demonstrations and experience comparisons and in the most part practical learning by doing approach. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know the theoretical background as well as go through a series of practical exercises and project tasks which will be tried out and reflected upon and evaluated by participants themselves, the trainer and the group throughout the course. After the course, learning outcomes will be recorded on the Europass Mobility Document (if requested by the participants).

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.

Certification details

Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

    The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

  • Cancellation & changes:

    Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.

    The options and conditions for change and cancellation, and the policy in case of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure).
