Description
- Learning English is essential in today’s world especially in education in a multilingual Europe, however it can be a challenging task for busy teachers. It is often on our “to do” list but we never have enough time or motivation to really get started.
- Whether you are an Early Years or Primary teacher, a Secondary or Subject teacher, or you may be just beginning a Content and Language Integrated Learning project or starting a new European one, this course will provide you with important skills and increase your confidence in English.
- Our intensive course focuses on developing speaking and listening skills, as well as reading and writing, with boosting confidence and fluency our priority. Throughout the course, there are opportunities to reflect on activities and to practise language functions in contexts that are relevant to your teaching.
Learning objectives
- To create a fun and supportive learning environment to practise English with our European colleagues.
- To facilitate the collection and use of a wide range of language functions in English.
- To help educators develop confidence when speaking and listening.
- To support educators to extend working vocabulary.
- To give opportunities for educators to improve reading skills.
