Description

The objectives of this course are:

Defining ICT usage in education with its pros and cons
Sharing good practices in teaching and learning, using ICT, enabling teachers to become confident and competent enough to create a collaborative, interactive classroom experience for their students using the ICT
Familiarize teachers with current trends in the use of Internet and new technologies in education
Exchanging experiences in cooperative and collaborative learning process as long as in creativity and innovation
Introducing gamification and the use of videogames with learning purposes

Teachers will have the opportunity of exchanging good practices with other teachers and to see how ICT is used in a Spanish real context.
The use of MOOC courses will be encouraged and all this will let teachers becoming confident enough to create a collaborative, interactive classroom experience for their students through the use of the ICT and social media.

Learning objectives

The Learning outcomes of the course are:

Getting familiar with Google workspace and Classroom
Organizing classes through Google workspace and Classroom
Discovering new interactive presentations
Use Sway and Canva for the creation digital content
Creation and editing of videos for educational purposes
Discovering collaborative sites
Use GSite for web page creation
Apply gamification techniques in the classroom
Use Edpuzzle, Kahoot and Quizlet to create interactive lessons and evaluate
Discovering new free apps to apply in the classroom
Plan and apply a digital escape room
Foster intercultural exchanges between different cultures and countries
Go deeper into how to give and receive feedback
Engage in a process of self-reflection through open conversations and new cultural experiences

Methodology & assessment

METHODOLOGY:
The course will consist of theorical and practical blended sessions.
The tutor will monitor and help all the participants in this practical session.
All the material presented during each session will be shared with the participants on a G-Classroom, where will be also shared the activities that all the participants will be carrying out during the course.

ASSESSMENT:
During the mobility, the participant is continuously monitored and mentored by ESMOVIA trainer. Through the completion of the different activities and tasks proposed by the trainer, the achievement of the different learning objectives will be assessed.
We will also evaluate the quality of the course provided with the use of a satisfaction questionnaire at the end of the course. We will use participants' feedback to improve.

Upon your arrival, you will receive a welcome kit with all the essential course materials and program information.

Throughout the course, you will have access to EsMobile app designed to support your mobility experience.

We will provide you with exclusive access to ESMOVIA cloud platform, where you can find: all presentations, training materials, resources used during the session as well as pictures and videos taken throughout the week.

Certification details

We will provide the participant with a certificate proving the attendance of the course.

Finally, Europass mobility will be issued to all participants. This document will describe all the skills acquired during this course.
