Description

The objectives of the course are:

Dedicate time to mastering the four key skills so that teachers can confidently transfer and apply them when they return to their home countries and schools.
Develop a daily plan for continued practice and integration of these skills, ensuring that the tools learned during the course remain practical and relevant, and that the 4 C’s (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication) are consistently implemented.
Provide tools specifically tailored to address teachers’ stress, workload, and occasional lack of motivation. By the end of the course, each participant will leave with a personalized toolkit and an actionable plan to sustain their professional growth.

It is foreseen 4 days of practical lessons and 1 day of visit to a school or organisation dealing with the subjects of the course. Social and cultural activities are foreseen in the course such as City Tour of Valencia and a farewell activity.

Learning objectives

The Learning outcomes of the course are:

Learn and understand new methodologies to implement in teams to stimulate creativity
Ability to replicate design thinking process after having practiced and lived it
Become aware of the different facets of empathy and how to stimulate them
Toolkit to help foster autonomous student capabilities
Individualized choice of problem-solving method after being exposed to many different ones
Specific easy to start plan for managing your focus, not your time- managing your energy and your focus, when then translates into your time
Understand deeper the facets of communication and how these affect our message and audience
Tricks of how to overcome fear of public speaking
Practice and implement in front of others- bring this back to your home country and school to get better and feel more comfortable!

Methodology & assessment

METHODOLOGY:

The approach used is highly practical, based on the expertise of the course trainers who have different years’ experience. Practical simulations will be carried out for each topic.
The objective of the practical activities is the simulation of the use of robots and coding during lessons.

ASSESSMENT:

During the mobility, the participant is continuously monitored and mentored by ESMOVIA trainer. Through the completion of the different activities and tasks proposed by the trainer, the achievement of the different learning objectives will be assessed.
We will also evaluate the quality of the course provided with the use of a satisfaction questionnaire at the end of the course. We will use participants' feedback to improve.

Upon your arrival, you will receive a welcome kit with all the essential course materials and program information.

Throughout the course, you will have access to EsMobile app designed to support your mobility experience.

We will provide you with exclusive access to ESMOVIA cloud platform, where you can find: all presentations, training materials, resources used during the session as well as pictures and videos taken throughout the week.

Certification details

We will provide the participant with a certificate proving the attendance of the course.

Finally, Europass mobility will be issued to all participants. This document will describe all the skills acquired during this course.
