The ICT in Education curriculum offers a comprehensive exploration of digital tools and strategies for educators. It equips participants with essential ICT skills, pedagogical approaches and awareness of emerging technologies.

Description
The course introduces
The course provides the opportunity to participants to gain best practices of using social technologies, web solutions for the modernization of curricula, gamification, tools for the creation of audiovisual resources (videos and clips) as a method to teach different subjects effectively and interactive apps to empower students.
Participants will join in on field projects to places of historical, geographical and environmental significance within the Cypriot heritage, the way of life and use this as inspiration for creating digital learning content though context.
Learning objectives
Participants will:
- Gain a deeper understanding of how to use interactive multimedia and create engaging content;
- Learn how to use ICT tools to make teaching more engaging, motivating, creative and innovative;
- Learn how social media can be integrated into education and learning;
- Strengthen educational community members’ interrelationships and collaboration by using social networks as tools for engagement
- Integrate digital tools into daily work;
- Suport Inclusiveness in their classroom and school;
- Use techniques related to educational leadership as they are the teachers of tomorrow’s leaders;
- Make learning easier, faster, stimulating and fun;
Methodology & assessment
Group and task-based activities, field projects and oral and written presentations will enhance participants’ learning experience.
Participants are encouraged to interact with each other and develop their communication skills in English while at the same time exploring and becoming part of a European dimension in education. That is why they will be encouraged to share their experience and ideas with other European colleagues.

Course package content:
The course fee per person includes course materials, meeting room(s), small snacks, coffee and tea.

Cancellation & changes:
A course might be cancelled / postponed when too little registrations have been received. No later than 35 days before the start of the specific course, registrant will be noticed of this. The pre-payment of the course fee(s) will be automatically and fully refunded, unless registrant formally enrols for another course(s)/ change to another date(s).
Until 35 days before the start of the selected course, cancellation will be free of charge and the pre-payment/payment will be fully refunded to registrant. Between 35 and 15 days before the start of the course, fifty percent of the payment will be refunded. Within the 15 days before the course no refunds will be made.
