
ERASMUS+ PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ETWINNING 2.0 IN ICELAND: HOW TO INTERNATIONALIZE THE SCHOOL
This is a 6-day Erasmus training course This structured course is designed to bring Europe into your school and classroom. You will be offered a comprehensive introduction into international school project possibilities within the Erasmus+ framework, supplemented by a practical instruction into the innovative features of online partnership projects with eTwinning and blended learning possibilities
Description
You will learn everything about the funding available at Erasmus + Projects, acquiring concrete skills related to the design of a successful project, the key words to write the form and manage the project once approved. It’s compulsory to know as much as you can about topics of the proposal and criteria assessment to get the grant. A practical simulation is carried out for each topic in focus during the European Project Design.
Throughout the course, participants will engage in practical workshops and collaborative activities tailored to deepen their knowledge on Erasmus+ initiatives. From understanding the new European School Development Platform (ESEP) and the possibilities of Erasmus+ funding as well as writing a successful Erasmus+ accreditation to structured drafting of international projects, setting up project twinspaces on eTwinning and quality assessment, each session is designed to empower educators with practical skills and strategies for project success.
Learning objectives
- Acquire knowledge of accreditation criteria and strategies for successful accreditation of Erasmus+ projects
- Get to know everything about the funding possibilities of Erasmus+ for students and school staff, e.g. long- and short term mobilities, group mobilities, jobshadowing, expert visits etc.
- Develop proficiency in navigating and utilizing the European School Education Platform (ESEP) and eTwinning platform for documentation, collaboration, and communication within Erasmus+ projects
- Find partner schools and establish collaborative relationships for Erasmus+ projects, eTwinning projects and Blended Learning projects
- Learn and exchange tipps and tricks on how to manage an Erasmus+ and eTwinning project successfully

Methodology & assessment
The expected training activity has been structured so that the participants can transfer know-how and develop needed skills to create and manage a proposal with real success. The methodology will have daily motivation activities, brainstorming, working in pairs or groups, simulations and networking not only in the classroom but also in the optional cultural activity.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
The company will provide the majority of materials to participants and all the course contents will be shared in a digital format. Regarding this, participants' digital tools will be improved and there will be any doubts about sharing the materials. Actually, a Google Drive access will be given to participants, so they can download everything that has been receiving during the training time. Furthermore, monitoring and mentoring arrangements will take place during and after the course.
Certification details
The Project Management Society Erasmus Plus holding group fulfills the Erasmus requirements about having a seat in the country where the course takes places and the group provides a local subsidiary company in this country. Icelandic OID: E10274031
The company sends the Learning Agreement document at the moment of the registration in the course, providing you an attendance 35-hour certificate from Sunday to Friday, which includes all necessary details. A 5 or 7-day CA can be created upon request

Course package content:
The cost of the course includes course fees, a free guided city tour, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. The company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need. Accommodation, meals and transport to the venue is not included in the course fees but an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the local culture.

Cancellation & changes:
Cancellations and Reimbursements of course fees are detailed in the booking confirmation document, but summarizing:.
- If participants cancel at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, the company will refund the entire amount, minus 20% of the course fee. In another case, the participant will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 12 months.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), the participant will receive a full reimbursement of the course fees.
