
Environmental and Social innovative practices in educative contexts
The course offers innovative and practical operative toolkits in sustainability education, designed to foster environmental awareness and to instigate tangible action in project development among educative communities, in order to generate local, national or transnational societal change.

Course Programme
- Monday 14: Introduction to the Design Thinking methodology for project development. Presentation of the “Social and Environmental Innovation Toolkit”
- Tuesday 15: Design Thinking for environmental awareness: co-creation activities and observation of the on-site case study
- Wednesday 16: Design Thinking for environmental awareness: defining the Point of View and tools for creative solution finding
- Thursday 17: Design Thinking for environmental awareness: ideation and prototype of a solution
- Friday 18: Design Thinking for environmental awareness: finalisation of the prototype phase. How to apply the “Social and Environmental Innovation Toolkit” in different contexts.
- Saturday: Final assessment
Learning objectives
The program introduces participants to the main European frameworks such as the strategies of the Green New Deal and the New European Bauhaus values of sustainability, beauty and togetherness.
Methodology & assessment
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Participants will navigate skills ranging from biology to sociology, from architecture to engineering, interact in a group of researchers with an applicative perspective that will sustain the design of a personal or a co-created project.

Course package content:
- Half-board accommodation (breakfast + dinner) in a Twin room at Holiday Resort AD Torres shared with another participant of the same gender
- Local transfers connecting hotel, training venue and beaches

Cancellation & changes:
In case the participant cancels his/her attendance at the training activities, he/she has to pay the fee and/or compensation as follows:
until 1 month before the beginning of the course: no fees;
from 2 weeks before the beginning of the course: 50% of the course fee;
from 5 days before the beginning of the course: 80% of the course fee.
