Effective Classroom Management Techniques
Classroom management is the process teachers use to ensure that classroom lessons run smoothly without disruptive behaviour from students compromising the delivery of instruction. It includes the prevention of disruptive behaviour preemptively, as well as effectively responding to it after it happens.
Description
A good classroom management isn't simply about keeping everyone in their seats and quiet. It's about building strong relationships with your students, encouraging them to take part in their own learning, and sharing a little of yourself. A classroom culture that is good for kids is good for teachers, too.
You will learn: Participants will learn and get tools to boost motivation, establish classroom rules, provide clear instructions, monitor, develop rapport, incorporate pair and group work, and gain tips for encouraging students' performance.
