
E-LEARNING ASSESSMENT/ BENCHMARKING 7 DAYS
This course has been created to provide teachers with greater knowledge about assessment approaches, assessment strategies and classroom evaluation techniques. The main focus of the training will be how to use assessment of and more importantly, for learning. Participants are expected to have at least B1 level of English proficiency.
Description
The course consists of 35 didactic hours and includes the following moduels:
- Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
- The purposes of the assessment
- What does ‘assessment’ mean?
- What do we assess and how do we assess it?
- Formative and summative assessment
- Which teaching methods are most useful to train key competences?
- The forms of assessment
- Types of evaluation
- Assessment for learning
- Examples of Project Assessment Tools: surveys, observations, case studies
- Online tools for assessment (e.g. Mentimeter, Socrative, ASSISTments, Moodle, Flip, Edulastic, Formative, Quizlet, etc.)
- Making assessment creative
- Practical exercises
- Cooperative learning task
- Practical work using by tools for assessment
- Alternative assessments and types
- Creation of valuable materials that the participants will be able to use upon their return
- Moodle in Classroom
- eTwinning in assessing (TwinSpace and how to use ESAP)
- Group work in eTwinning group

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon copletion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expences b y themselves.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case the school/org doesn't find a replacement, we will still offer a place at any of our confirmed courses later in the year without any additional costs but we can not guarantee that every course session will be confirmed and the school/org will only be offered to choose from already confirmed course sessions. In case it will not be possible for the participant to attend the course or for us to organize the course due to extraordinary circumstances (force majeure) which present themselves in the period of less than 30 days before the start of the course, we will keep 50 % of the payment and refund the remaining balance of 50% to the payer’s bank account.
