Conflict Resolution- Managing Interpersonal and Group Conflict Dynamics
Conflict can occur within groups - intragroup conflict - and between groups - intergroup conflict. In can also occur in one to one relationships, which we will refer to as interpersonal conflict. When group conflict occurs, the actions or beliefs of one or more group members are unacceptable to and resisted by one or more of the other members.
Description
- Who We Are
We are a team of doctoral level psychologists and mental health professionals with extensive experience of working in mental health settings in Malta, Australia and the UK. Our service offers both therapeutic support and training for professionals. Our members boast decades of experience working within clinical and therapeutic settings as well as within training environments whereby we have educated teachers, school staff and mental health professionals.
Given our training and clinical experience we ensure to offer evidence-based training and recommendations, informed by therapies that are considered the ‘gold standard,’ such as cognitive behaviour therapy. We have expertise of working within child and adolescent mental health settings whereby we have frequently liaised with school staff, being aware of the specific challenges faced by students and staff.
