Erasmus+ KA1 English Course and Cultural Experience in Málaga

This Erasmus+ KA1 program offers a perfect combination of professional language development and cultural immersion in Málaga, a dynamic city on Spain’s sunny Costa del Sol. Designed for educators, professionals, and learners of all levels, the program blends interactive English lessons with a rich exploration of Málaga’s cultural and historical treasures.

Program Overview:

  • COURSE STRUCTURE: Morning classes (20–25 hours) focusing on practical English skills, including speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary through engaging, real-life scenarios.
  • CULTURAL ACTIVITIES: A guided tour of Málaga’s most iconic sites, such as the Alcazaba, Picasso Museum, and the lively streets of the Old Town, alongside the picturesque harbor and Mediterranean coastline.
  • LEARNING APPROACH: A communicative methodology fostering active participation, collaboration, and real-world language application.

Learning objectives

By the end of the Erasmus+ KA1 English Course and Cultural Experience in Málaga, participants will:

1.  Enhance their English communication skills, with a focus on fluency, accuracy, and confidence.
2.  Develop practical language skills for professional, social, and cultural contexts.
3.  Improve understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation tailored to participants’ levels and needs. 
4.  Gain insights into English-speaking cultures through cultural activities and materials. 
5. Strengthen intercultural communication skills while exploring Málaga’s rich Mediterranean heritage.

Methodology & assessment

METHODOLOGY:

1. Communicative approach focusing on interaction, real-life scenarios, and practical applications.
2. Small group activities, role plays, and discussions to encourage active participation.
3. Tailored lessons to address specific language goals and individual needs.
4. Integration of cultural content to contextualize learning and connect with Málaga’s unique environment.

ASSESSMENT:

1. Continuous assessment through class participation, collaborative tasks, and teacher feedback.
2. A final reflective activity or presentation to demonstrate language progress and cultural insights gained.
3. Certificates of completion with personalized feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.

MATERIAL:
1.Course handouts, worksheets, and a tailored syllabus based on the CEFR 
2. Authentic resources, such as articles, videos, and excerpts from English-speaking media.

DIGITAL TOOLS:

Certification details

    Cancellations must be communicated (email/phone…) to our office. If a cancellation is made more than one week prior to the course start date, participants will receive a full refund, which can be processed either through a bank transfer or by crediting the fees towards another course, as per the participant's preference.
