This course is for staff who wish to improve their communication skills and fluency in English, and to experience and explore Irish culture. Language and cultural awareness are key skills for staff in educational institutions today. This course combines engaging language lessons with interesting social and cultural excursions. There are course options for a range of levels, from A2 to C1.

Description

Lessons focus on communication and real life English. Participants join in role-plays, dialogue, discussions and group activities.
This course provides the opportunity to make connections with others from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Classes are mixed nationality to promote diversity.
There is availability for a wide range of levels, from A2 (elementary) to C1 (advanced). Participants are placed in a class most suitable for their level.
The programme includes social and cultural activities and a day trip to an area outside of Dublin city. Participants have the opportunity to visit cultural attractions and practice English spontaneously, outside of the classroom context. All entrance fees are included in the course fee.
This course can be booked for 1 or 2 weeks.

Methodology & assessment

Lessons are learner-centred and have engaging content. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on authentic tasks so participants learn English for real-life situations. Experienced and supportive teachers provide constructive feedback during lessons. Participants also have access to the school App which provides additional options for learning outside the classroom.

Certification details

On successful completion of the training course, participants will receive Certificate of Attendance including participant's name, course dates and details.
