This 6-day course is designed for, and dedicated to teachers
• who are looking for meaningful ways of reflecting on their professional practice
• who wish to engage with pedagogic issues and widen their understanding of CLIL
• who are looking to revitalize and energize their approach to teaching
• who wish to enhance and refresh their skills in delivering subject content in/through English.
Description
The last decades, an increasing number of schools in almost all European countries have adopted the educational approach Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). As an innovative approach, in which subject matter and a foreign language are taught and learnt side by side, CLIL has developed into a very popular educational innovation. This course is intended for educators with an interest in CLIL method, who want to widen their understanding of the subject, but also wish to engage with broader pedagogic issues, and enhance and refresh their skills in delivering subject content through English. The course will also offer a clear rationale and suggestions for further exploration in this area. There is also the possibility to extend the course to 7-day.

• Visit to Limassol Old city center, Castle area, Carob Mill Museum and other monuments.

• Petra tou Romiou (birthplace of Aphrodite).

Certification details
At the end of the course, each participant will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance together, if requested, with the Europass Mobility Certificate. The certificate is in line with the Erasmus quality standards and includes a short description of the course and its learning outcomes, the dates, the venue and the name of the course provider.

Cancellation & changes:
Course cancellations and refunds
• Cancellations at least 4 weeks before the course: EDUCULTURE will refund the entire amount, minus 10% or participants can join another course/session in the following 18 months.
• Cancellations less than 4 weeks before the course: EDUCULTURE will retain the entire amount, and participants can join another course/session in the following 18 months.
• Once the course has begun, EDUCULTURE will retain the entire amount paid.
• Cancellations due to force majeure at least one week before the course: EDUCULTURE will refund the entire amount.
• Cancellations due to force majeure less than one week before the course: EDUCULTURE will refund the entire amount, minus 10% of the course fee, or participants will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 18 months.
• Once the course has begun and is cancelled due to force majeure, EDUCULTURE will retain the entire amount paid and implement the rest of the course online. -
