The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has introduced multiple goals related to the environment, considering a top priority. This one-week course invites educators of all levels to embark on a journey of exploration, reflection, and reconnection with the natural world. Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature and discover how to infuse this newfound appreciation into your teaching practices, inspiring a sense of stewardship and environmental consciousness in your students.
Target Audience:
This course is tailored for educators across the educational spectrum, including primary, secondary, and higher education, youth workers and leaders as well as those passionate about fostering a love for nature within their educational settings. Attendees will receive handouts and self-evaluation forms as well as feedback forms on the course itself. Social networking will be set up to maintain contact after the end of the course and continue any discussions begun during the course, as well as to exchange feedback on how the skills taught in the course are being implemented.
Additional modules are available for subject- and issue- specific topics, and these can be delivered at a later date or via webinar.
