AI to young students: comprehensive methods and practices
This course equips educators with the knowledge and tools to introduce Artificial Intelligence to young learners in an accessible and engaging way 🤖. Through real-life examples, ethical reflection, and interactive activities, participants will foster digital literacy, curiosity, and responsible AI use in the classroom 🚸.
Description
How can we prepare young students for a future shaped by AI? This course offers teachers practical tools to explain basic AI concepts—such as machine learning, prompts, tokens, and AI hallucinations—in age-appropriate ways 🧒💡.
Participants will explore how to create engaging lessons that integrate AI literacy into different subjects, while also fostering ethical reflection and digital responsibility. Key topics will include how AI works, its potential benefits and risks, and how to encourage a critical approach to AI-generated content.
No previous technical background is required. By the end of the course, educators will feel confident designing interactive lessons that spark curiosity, promote ethical thinking, and help young students make sense of the digital world they are growing up in 🌐.

🏅 We are a non-profit foundation that collaborates with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the University of Vic (UVic-UCC) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), committed to advancing high-quality education and cultural engagement.
🌟 Our trainers are active professionals: school leaders, inspectors, university lecturers, and private sector experts who share real-world expertise through well-structured courses.
🏫 We use authentic educational spaces, such as public schools and university faculties, instead of commercial venues.
🎯 We are deeply committed to Catalan language and culture, offering participants the chance to experience local life through exclusive cultural activities designed for educators.
We apply diverse, learner-centred methodologies: case studies, collaborative tasks, and reflective activities.
