The EU Youth Strategy is the framework for youth policy cooperation for the period between 2019-2027. It fosters youth participation in democratic life and also supports their social and civic engagement with the aim to ensure that all young people have the necessary resources to take part in society. ‘Youth speaks’ strives for the extension of youth participation into a variety of sectors and spaces and opening pathways for young people from all backgrounds. In this project, 16-18 year-old high school students will come together and start dialogues and discussions to learn and make their voice heard about 11 Youth Goals. The activities will include online meetings, workshops, debates, role-plays and campaigns, through which the students will be knowledgeable about the topics with specific relevance to their lives and have a chance to be in a simulation of the functioning of democratic institutions. They will produce such intellectual outputs as proposals, reports, blog, speech, etc.
