The root of good and bad is sometimes the same. Good intentions give way to bad decisions. Breakthrough innovations work for the good of the humanity but sometimes taken to the extreme or used differently they can turn against us. Even on the same tree, some branches give fruit and some are just dry twigs which serve no purpose. Whispers of the Tree is a project that wants to look at the duality of things and examine the same things through different lenses. The tree is used as a metaphor for society in miniature where the same idea can take many turns. In addition, just like a tree, which from the same root can grow very different branches a society can take different directions based on the citizens who are representatives of certain "branches" and view the reality and perspective differently. Students will be part of a mini society – “the tree ecosystem” will examine different inhabitants of the “tree” society will try to look from various "branches" of the “tree” – examining the complex sides of society. Will visit the “branches” and “nests” of the “tree” in the project – the areas of human knowledge and see how they impact the mini society.
