The project 'Traveling Teddy Bear' is suitable for young learners. It aims to foster tolerance and understanding using email.  Classes send each other a Teddy Bear or other plushy toy by airmail through the normal postal system. The bear sends home weekly diary messages and photos by email through the whole year. When the academic year is over, the bear arrives home.
