Teachers know that the students who participate in this Erasmus+ project are very motivated to continue their studies at the University applying for some scientific or technological career.

That is why we consider during our mobility to include some relevant visits related with their motivations for the future, and we had the opportunity to make some great guided walks inside the RAI and a big factory.

Visiting the RAI in Madrid

The Royal Academy of Engineering is placed in an historical building in the old city center of Madrid, where we were received personally by the President Joaquín Domínguez, who explain the students how grateful is to become engineer during these days of fast technological advances, because a lot of graduated students must be needed in our future society to do things work. This message goes specially for women, so that is why they organize a program called M&I to motivate girls to embrace engineering.

We had the chance of visiting the workshops of the assembly machines for the manufactured electronics, some clean rooms from integrated circuits and the laboratories of essays for the final products, testing diferent parameters like radiation, temperature or vibrations.
