We have never had such field workshops on bird ringing! On February 20, as part of the Erasmus+ Thinking Globally Acting Locally project, coordinated by Dorota Sokołowska, educational workshops for our students and bird ringing. An ornithologist friend, Mr. Dariusz Górecki, introduced us to the method of catching birds in special nets intended for this purpose and gave us a lot of knowledge about birds visiting our feeders. In total, 200 participants took part in the classes, who together with the lecturer captured and ringed about 200 birds of 7 species. Do you know what it takes to ring birds? How are birds caught?
