“Think Globally - Act Locally!” is a Project that aims to foster a number of key competencies among students and teachers: Enhancing the understanding of democracy, freedom, and peace: By interacting with students from various countries and cultures, participants can firsthand experience and appreciate the values of democracy, freedom, and peace. Improving foreign language skills: Communication and interaction with students and teachers from abroad provide opportunities for participants to improve and apply their foreign language skills and scientific terminology. Developing competencies in dealing with students with migration backgrounds and special needs: Working with a diverse group of students allows teachers to enhance their skills in dealing with students from different backgrounds and needs. Promoting eco-social responsibility: The inclusion of sustainability and environmental protection topics in the exchange helps all participants strengthen their awareness of eco-social responsibility. All materials are digital. Improving digital competencies: The use of digital tools and platforms as part of the exchange project enhances the digital competencies of all participants. The project encourages participants to apply global concepts of sustainability and responsibility within their local communities. It involves learning from local actors who are actively implementing sustainable practices, understanding their work, and participating in their initiatives. The project emphasizes the importance of local actions in achieving global sustainability goals, fostering a sense of global citizenship and responsibility among participants. It combines theoretical learning with practical application, making it an engaging and impactful experience. The project also includes documentation and presentation of the results, promoting knowledge sharing and wider community engagement.
