Robert Kalina was the designer who proposed using the artistic periods of European cultural history as the basic theme for the design of euro banknotes, as this is an easily identifiable element shared by all Europeans. With this same idea, that of a common identity, but also the awareness that art is the response to the society of the moment and as a society, we must respond to the problems of our world, the proposal of 'Sustainable EuropArt' is born. Under this name, an Erasmus+/eTwinning project is presented that aims to use common values of European identity as its foundation: cultural heritage and solidarity. Both variables are proposed to be combined through collective civic action so that students are aware of their environment but also become aware of its problems and/or needs, responding to them by creating a final product that combines both principles.
