Sustainable development skills for young people in multicultural Europe/Kestävän kehityksen taitoja nuorille monikulttuurisessa Euroopassa 2023-1-FI01-KA122-SCH-000135030
We want to develop the environmental thinking and the knowledge about sustainability of young people. Everybody can contribute to sustainable and responsible development through own small choices. Therefore, it is important that both young people and adults learn to understand how important it is that everybody participates in this process to promote the wellbeing of our environment. In addition, the multiculturalism and intercultural communication are important in the even more and more multicultural Finland. With the help of common European school projects we can get acquainted with the environmental situation in another European countries and come up together with practical actions for the sustainable development in the future. Young people are our future and it is vital to make them think about the more ecological future. Additionally, we have found through eTwinning partner schools that think along similar lines with us and very much want to join them in working on this topic.
