Monitoring and Evaluation
The classes will be matched by the project coordinator of a country. Students will collaborate according to their age, academic readiness, and school curriculum goals. The project activities are arranged according to the cycle of the inquiry-based learning process. The country coordinators registered in the eTwinning Platform will use the Collaborative Center for online communication. The correspondence will be achieved by email and Google Drive file exchange.
The weekly achieved objectives will be monitored as a document exchange via Google Drive. The project's progress will be evaluated using Google Forms and discussed at monthly online meetings.
Student-to-Student Collaboration
Students will be engaged in the project activities by their country coordinators/teachers. The tools of collaboration will be Padlet, Zoom conferencing, Canva and Virtual Exhibitions.
Metods of collaboration:
· Project website
· File Exchange
· Zoom conferences
· Letters/emails
· Whatsapp Group
Tools: Book creator webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpzz_uZ4Cb4&t=253s
Project activities:
To start the project, partner schools join collaborative Zoom meetings to establish first contact and introduce schools. They do community presentations.
Students collaborate in groups to identify local problems aligned with SDG 2 and SDG 15. They do online research and go on field trips.
Partner schools start collaborative padlet and post research findings (photos, videos, etc.) to reflect on local and national environmental problems.
Students host interviews with UN authorities to initiate collaborative action. The activities will be implemented through:
Languages: Describe local endangered flora and fauna species
Science: Sustainable School Gardens Music: Outdoor performances
Arts: ‘Eco-print’ Artwork
P.E.: Clean energy models
Language Art: Articles, Videos, and Interviews to be published in the ‘GOLD’ magazine, on school websites and social media accounts. Virtual Meetings, Webinars, Panels, Exhibitions
Students, teachers, and parents will take part in surveys, questionnaires and interviews to evaluate the project.
Project Outcome(s)
The project will result in a digital padlet on SDGs, a model of a clean energy source, eco-artwork, and a piece of music about nature. The album will be published on iEARN USA, international educational networks, schools’ online magazines, and social media.
Project Evaluation:
· A number of students, teachers, and parents engaged in in-house training, surveys, etc.
· Number of articles, publications, or presentations shared on the Project website and ‘GOLD’ magazine indicating an educational impact
Project contributions to others and the planet:
Students as active project participants will learn new skills of online collaboration, oracy and public presentations, digital literacy, and innovative creativity. Teachers will exchange their educational practices by taking collaborative actions and building up resource-network of student-generated materials. Local, national, and international stakeholders will support the project’s maintenance through fundraising and donations.
How to Find a Partner:
The project partners will receive the Project Activity Timeline. An interested school will contact the project coordinator(s) for further matches. Students of the partner schools will be matched according to their age group and the school’s educational needs.
How to Get Started & Engage in Project:
A project partner school joins the project and shares a greeting message with media (photos, video) to present the school. Coordinators from partner schools may wish to share a video message to greet each other. The presentations of every new partner school will be published in ‘GOLD’ International Online Kids Magazine.

Notes:
By implementing this project, we aim to broaden our expertise and establish a collaborative online resource network for students and teachers. This network will provide learners with content on sustainable practices in line with UN Agenda 2030.
Since many teachers do not have the expertise to teach sustainability, this network will give them insight into the knowledge, skills, and attitudes our learners need to achieve environmental and ethical awareness through English and Spanish.
