Individuals in the process of socialization take the signals that are required to be called women or men from various channels such as family, school and friend. Socialization of gender, means that the individual should behave according to his / her gender and the different tasks expected to be performed from them. Schools constitute a microcosm of the gender systems of their communities, it gives legitimacy to existing social relations and practices. Therefore, school is the nodes of relations between family and state as the basic institutions of patriarchal and capitalist society. Appropriate identities and subjectivities for social relations are shaped in schools. In this case, since gender-based discrimination in education is both the cause and the result of gender inequality in the wider society, studies in schools are important.
