STEAM UP

STEAM, which emerged in the USA; It consists of the initials of the English words Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics; It is also defined as STEM+. With this educational approach, it aims to develop an inquisitive and relational perspective on problems. It is a technology-based learning approach that aims to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills and covers the entire education and training process. STEAM Education has now become a necessity for all countries of the world. Developed countries aim to abandon the education system that emerged with the industrial revolution and base their education systems on STEAM education. The reason for this is that in recent years, in the information society, increasing mental processes and production skills rather than labor and muscle power has been seen as a necessity. Within the scope of STEAM education, the aim is to bring students to the level of high-level thinking, product development, invention and innovation by being involved in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics courses.
