Spe@krt

The project aims at offering authentic communication opportunities in English using ICT for pupils aged 14 to 15 living in different European countries. We want them to try and discover their feelings and speak up through different works of art as a way to develop emotional and mental well-being activities in schools: reducing the "weight" of curriculum and increasing the emphasis on community connections, student and teacher well-being, and emphasizing a creative learner-centered, competency-based approach.Besides, we want to exemplify how digitalization can transform education, making it more interactive and inclusive, enabling enabled collaboration with schools in different countries. By using digital tools we will provide a cross-cultural exchange which will change their perspectives and enhance their global awareness, moving beyond traditional learning methods. These interactive elements will amke learning more engaging and catered to various learning styles. We will use art as a medium for emotional expression and creative exploration, honing the students' artistic skills and deepening in their emotional literacy and creative confidence. This experience will underscore the importance of integrating art into education as a means of fostering personal growth and intercultural understanding. Through this project, students will learn that art is not just about creating aesthetically pleasing images, it is a powerful tool for exploring and expressing the depths of human experience

Spe@rtk in the museum

Today we have had a wonderful experience! Santa Teresa students have presented Spe@rtk eTwinning Project to the public in the premises of the MUSAC, the Contemporary Art Museum of Castilla y León. They explained what they have, done, how they met their Italian friends and work with them in the forums and collaborative activities and what this project has meant to them. I was watching at the control room, from which we showed the project pages on the screen, and I must say that their performance was awesome! Congrats guys! And thanks to those who joined the meeting online and onsite!

We will edit a video with some of the parts (It was a 50 minute performance!) and post in in the Dissemination page. Coming soon!

These days have been so much fun. Students in León have learnt how to use HeyHen and advanced students help others. After revising the final monologues with their Italian mates, they have recorded them with everybody's contributions. Now, getting ready to place their Art Works in our wonderful Spe@rtk Gallery.

International teams: working on painting speeches and going through partners' work

Today international teams contributed with Spanish partners on line on shared documents to the painting characters' speeches.

We also had a look at our partners' work on "Der Wanderer" and we liked their versions a lot. Well done, dear friends!
