The program "Safe access to water with the Safe Water Sports educational program" concerns the education and information of primary school children in matters related to water safety, the sea, swimming pools, water sports and other marine activities recreation. It combines learning and entertainment. It covers the basic knowledge and practices that children need to know about being safe in the water. It is a multidimensional and interdisciplinary program. It includes various academic subjects such as environmental studies, natural sciences and arts. It also includes experiential actions, through which the knowledge acquired by the children is applied. During the program and after it the students will be able to appreciate the value and importance of safety at sea. At the same time, they will develop behaviors that will be in accordance with the rules they were taught and the maritime code of conduct.
