Parents questionnaire - Evaluation
Recognizing the vital role parents play in their children's education, the project sought parental feedback to evaluate its effectiveness. Research underlines the importance of schools and families working together as partners for a child's lifelong learning journey. This program successfully achieved this by promoting active parental involvement in both remote learning and fostering a love for continuous learning.
The program successfully reached a diverse group of students from various kindergartens across different regions. This is evident by the range of school locations mentioned in the responses.
The majority of parents (60.5%) indicated their children were between 5 and 6 years old during the program. This suggests the program was targeted towards kindergarten or early elementary school students.
A significant majority of parents (90.7%) reported that their children brought home information about outdoor learning activities during the program's implementation, indicating strong communication and information dissemination by the schools.
The survey indicates parents believe their children developed various skills through the program.Communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity were all identified as areas of development. The "very much" and "quite enough" categories received the most responses for each skill, suggesting a positive impact.
Overwhelmingly (97.7%), parents felt their children's participation in the eTwinning program was important. This suggests a high level of satisfaction with the program's overall benefits, with only 2.3% considering it unimportant.
The evaluation data indicates a highly positive reception of the European eTwinning program among parents. The program appears to effectively communicate its activities and has a strong impact on developing essential skills in children. Furthermore, the high value placed on such programs by parents underscores their importance in early childhood education. These insights suggest that continued and expanded implementation of eTwinning programs could be beneficial for broader educational outcomes.
