Never before has the protection of one's natural heritage been so urgent. Human beings are realising that resources are scarce, must be managed wisely and that we need to change our everyday habits. As these issues must be brought into the pedagogic settings, it is relevant to develop such a project, helping students to identify the natural heritage they inherited from the past, the threats it is facing and what needs to be done to preserve this inheritance.
