🔑 OUR PROJECT
There is a growing concern about the impact of red meat on human health and the environment. Therefore, food systems that are less dependent on natural resources (such as land, soil, biodiversity, water…), are often said to be better for the planet. However, there are many aspects to consider when evaluating the environmental effects of meat. How can we follow an eco-friendly diet and still eat meat?
The main objective of this project is that students reflect on the values of a healthy and responsible cuisine by focusing on the array of new flavors, plant-based alternatives, culinary techniques and menu options that have recently been introduced into the catering industry. In international groups, they will: a) conduct a research on eating habits and alterntive diets; b) create a collection of nutritious and tasty plant-based recipes; c) design healthy meal plans for the network of eTwinning schools, making a sustainable diet more affordable and accessible for everyone.
