3ºESO students from IES Arquitecto Ventura Rodríguez visited Madrid to go on a walking graffiti tour. Students could see on the spot the murals they had been working on in class, and had a chance to explain them to their classmates. 

Students could also reflect on how street art is closely related to sustainability, as it is closely related to the development of a neighbourhood.

Para sensibilizar a sus compañeros sobre el calentamiento global y para promover la protección del medio ambiente, alumnos de 4to de ESO del instituto Victor Duruy han realizado una campaña de prevención: han creado carteles y han grabado vídeos. Aquí presentamos su trabajo:

Los alumnos de 1ºESO del grupo al que doy clase están llevando a cabo un proyecto que mezcla la Lengua y Literatura (la comunicación oral y los textos escritos) con el plan de convivencia y con el proyecto de centros sostenibles en el que se incluye nuestro Centro. 

En grupos de tres o cuatro alumnos están haciendo preguntas que han elaborado previamente en clase entre ellos, después de haber estudiado en el aula el contenido de la entrevista como tipo de texto periodístico mixto, con sus características (tipos de preguntas, rasgos de buen entrevistador, estructura) y ejemplos prácticos:

Las entrevistas son a cuatro profesores: Concepción Sánchez (Secretaría, Responsable de Sostenibilidad), Jaime Martín (Profesor de FP responsable del proyecto Labdoo), Pilar Navarro (Profesora Comercio y Marketing, responsable mercadillo solidario) y Javier López (Coordinador de Bienestar, responsable de convivencia). Están en proceso de elaboración de las entrevistas en la Radio del Centro y, una vez que terminen, realizarán la entrevista por escrito, con formato 

periodístico.

STREET ART TOUR: ONLINE MEETING BETWEEN ROME & BOADILLA DEL MONTE 

On April 22nd, our pupils dazzled their peers from IES Arquitecto Ventura Rodríguez presenting the vibrant murals of the Garbatella District in Rome and walking them through the Roman Street Art. We all worked on the Street Art and Sustainability project. To jazz things up and make the video call more engaging, we all played a Kahoot quiz. The Spanish triumphed, taking the podium! 💯 WELL DONE BOADILLA DEL MONTE!💯😀😀😀🏆🏅

Our pupils as tour guides for the Street Art Tour in English. They explained the history of Street Art in Rome and the messages behind the murals in the Garbatella neighborhood: from the fight against fascism to honouring famous Roman music and cinema icons such as Manfredi and Amici, along with Alfredino's tragedy and the principles of the Italian Constitution.
