Starting from the perception of the self in the local environment, the project investigates the role of males and females in the social interaction. Stereotypes, codified roles, common behaviours will be analysed and compared throughout the times and the different nations. The objective is to define correct and incorrect way of relationship between the genders as well as giving basic elements of intervention to prevent or to avoid wrong behaviours (e.g. reporting, education, respect of others). Finally, the project will analyze the figures of some people that are modern heroes because, despite their traditional role in the society, managed to become heroes in their everyday life breaking the stereotypes or old fixed social schemes.
