We were surprised by the amount of hand gestures Italians actually use to express themselves, because we thought it was just a myth.
Another thing we were amazed by, is the long history Bologna has: many old buildings, historical landmarks, squares, churches...
But our favourite thing was of course the amazing italian gastronomy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

29.1 we arrived in Bologna and met the families. Here in Italy is more warmer than in Finland. On tuesday we met the Catalans and everyone is really nice. Wednesday we had a trip to Venice and it's really beautiful. Thursday we went to Ravenna and we saw the mosaik. Everything is really beautiful and old. My host family are really nice to me and communicative. Italian food is delicious.

Bologna has a beautiful architecture and there are so many things and monuments to see, like the Two Towers and the square Maggiore with the statue of Neptune. Food is delicious here, like pizza, tortellini and pasta general, and people are nice and welcoming. Also the nature is very beautiful.

from a point of view of a finnish student, the programme is very different and the eating times are are different to us. The school system is also different but interesting.

It was really beatufull to host someone from Finland, because i learned something about their culture and habits, and i also cuold show her italians traditions, i walked her around the city and let her taste tradiional dishes and that was really funny, we enjoyed our time together.

The weather is very warm.
We like the project very much because we can meet new people.
The food it's different but it's good.
Venice it's a very beautiful place.
The host family was really nice.

Our experience in Bologna.
I liked a lot to have someone to talk in english and to know better other cultures. I hope they enjoyed this experience as much as I did.

From my point of view,been part of the erasmus program has really helped me to get to know different culture and also to meet different people.
As a girl who lives in Spain,I think that there are a lot of similarities between Italy and Spain. One thing I find different here is the school system.

It was very fun to "take care" of a new person: preparing them food, walking them through the city, explaining them things, bringing them to the station... I learned how to organize my day very well, in order to have time for my new friend and for myself as well.

I think it has been a fun and diffeerent experience in the sense of seeing new ways of doing things. I have very comfortable with m y partner and her family. I like the food but since I'm not used to it, it seemed a litle heavy to my estomac, although I liked it a lot. I found the places visited interesting because I had never been to Italy.

Sunday 28th January,we arrived in Bologna and we met our host families and shared greetings.On that night, my partner took me out to take some photos.The next day we went to the center of the city to explore beautiful places.On Tuesday we met the Finnish students and we all went to San Michele where we could see the whole city of Bologna,it was very nice to look at.The following day we went to Venice which was amazing.Thursday we went to ravenna to see the mosaik.The family is so nice and caring

I always wanted a brother or a sister so i liked this experience very much. I enjoyed a lot to go out with Stassy and i hope she will come to Bologna again!

We liked the food very much. We also like Venice and know all the history of some bulding of Bologna. We like the mosaics of Ravenna and met new people. (Xènia and Jenniina)

Hosting someone from Finland has been a really interesting experience, it's fun to learn each oher's traditions and habits. It has been fun to show her the city and also the typical food we eat. It has been a great opportunity to speak English with someone who's not from here.

It has been the most interesting week of my life and I do not want to go back to Finland at all. I love the food, the places, the people, everything. My favourite things were the train rides because you got to just talk with people and the evenings with my host family because we talked about everything. Me and my partner became frends almost immediately and her family feels like a second family to me. All the food is very good and even though in Finland we eat more frequently I was never hungry.

This week was very busy for me, bur it was a nice change. Since I'm an only child it was fun to have another person in the house other than me and my uncle. During this week I had to stay in Bologna almost every day to wait for them to come back from their trips, but it was nice to study in the library with my friends. For last I really enjoyed getting to know my corrispondent.

The experience has been really amasing, we were surprised about the culture because every place you go there is something with a really long history. All the italian people we met were kind so it was easy to make new friends and have a good time.
Something we find wierd the spanish people it's that heare they finish the day very early and they go home and don't do anythig.
Compared to finish people italians were a bit loud sometimes and they use hand gestures a lot.

This experience was amazing for me, because I love to travel and this trip was so interesting. I didn't know the differencesn between Catalonia and Italy, and I was so impressed. I really enjoyed visiting Venice and Ravenna, but my favourite activity was, with no doubt, eat!!

i really enjoyed this trip everyone was very kind and welcoming, I learned alot about Italian culture and traditions. Bologna, Venice and Revenna were really colourful and beautiful.
