Mathematics is a Universal Language: The Future Code

Mathematics is a Universal Language: The Future Code Today's world faces many global challenges, including climate change, natural disasters, artificial intelligence, sustainable use of water and energy resources, digital safety, and health. Solving these challenges requires mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, data literacy, creativity, and international collaboration. In this project, students become Future Code Hunters, completing monthly missions inspired by real-world challenges. After each mission, they earn a Code Piece. However, no school can unlock The Future Code alone. Only through collaboration among partner schools from different countries can all the Code Pieces be combined to reveal the final code. Throughout the project, students will connect mathematics with real-life situations, collect and analyze data, use Web 2.0 tools to create collaborative products, and work together with peers from different cultures. By the end of the project, they will discover that mathematics is not only a school subject but also a universal language that helps us understand the world and build a better future together.
