The invention of Morse code
Morse code was invented in the 1830s by Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail as a system for transmitting messages by telegraph. Each letter and number is represented by a combination of short and long signals (dots and dashes). It had a major impact on long-distance communications, revolutionizing the rapid transmission of information, especially in the military, maritime, and railway fields. Partner teachers created various educational resources through which they introduced this interesting subject to their students.
