E-safety & project policy
Parental Permission for eTwinning Project Participation: To ensure the safety and well-being of students participating in our eTwinning project, we require signed parental permission for each child.
User Accounts: All participants will have individual accounts created for access to the project platforms (Twinspace).
Supervision: Adult supervision will be provided during online activities. Teachers will monitor online students meetings / collaborative online activities/ discussions and interactions to ensure they are appropriate and respectful.
Acceptable use of technology: Technology will be used in this project for communication and collaboration. All the activities will be monitored by teachers. This includes refraining from sharing personal information, engaging in cyberbullying, or accessing inappropriate content.
Privacy Settings: The project Twinspace will be set to private to ensure that only registered participants and moderators have access to the content. Pages will be Public and shared will everyone with the link.
Canva online collaboration: Canva documents will be shared with specific permissions to ensure that only project participants and moderators can view and edit them. Participants will be reminded to create content that is respectful, inclusive, and relevant to the project. Any content that violates these guidelines will be removed.
Teacher Guidance: Teachers will provide clear instructions and guidance during coding activities to ensure that participants understand the concepts and can safely complete the tasks.
Feedback and Evaluation: Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the activities implemented during the project, allowing for continuous improvement.
This eSafety policy & Project policy aims to create a secure and supportive online environment for participants in our eTwinning project. By adhering to these guidelines and promoting responsible digital citizenship, we can ensure that all participants can safely collaborate and learn together.

On safe internet day, students were informed about how to use the internet and the importance of confidentiality of private information.
A safe internet use seminar was given for parents and students by Osmangazi Family Social Services Deputy Director Ebru Güney Karabacak in the conference hall of our school.

We celebrated Safe Internet Day, discussed the dangers that can be encountered using the Internet, and discussed and held a workshop on hate speech on the Internet.
